Business Innovation Extension Stream

Holder of this visa entitled to stay 6 or 7 or 8 years from date of grant of original 188 subclass visa.

Visa holder can bring his family and operate a new or existing business in Australia and can subsequently apply for a permanent 888 subclass visa.

Must have hold a 188 visa for at feast 3 years or just one other business innovation extension stream visa.

A State or territory government agency must nominate visa holder.

Requirements

1. Visa holder must be present in Australia a substantia amount of time to manage business
2. Own an interest in the main business
3. Commit to staying and have direct decision-making interest in business
4. Must not be involved in unacceptable practices
5. Have functional English
6. Comply with health requirement
7. Comply with character requirement
8. Observe Australian values statement
9. Have no debt to Australian government
10. Have had no previous visa cancelled or refused
